Facilities Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Top UF Health Psychiatry – San Jose (Years 1-2) UF Health Psychiatry – San Jose offers a range of outpatient and consultation services including: Collaborative care programs to help primary care providers identify and treat children and adolescents with mental health problems Dialectical behavioral therapy, including group skills training School psychiatry consultations at local elementary, middle and high schools Outpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents with serious mental health problems Outpatient psychiatry consultations to community primary care providers for children and adolescents with mental health problems The patient population ranges in age from five years to 20 years. Fellows will care for youth with a variety of child psychiatric disorders including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, disruptive behavioral disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. Gateway Community Services (Year 1) Gateway Community Services is a long-term dual-diagnosis adolescent drug and alcohol residential treatment facility that cares for underserved adolescents ages 14-18 years. Fellows will care for adolescents who have experienced a wide range of substance use disorders including, but not limited to, alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine, opiate use disorders and co-morbid mental health disorders. Gateway Community Services is located 15 minutes away from UF Health Psychiatry – San Jose. Wolfson Children's Hospital (Years 1-2) Wolfson Children's Hospital is a freestanding, tertiary-care children's hospital that serves families throughout the Southeast United States. This facility has a 14 bed inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry unit, a separate children's emergency room, as well as a partial child and adolescent psychiatric hospitalization program. Around one-fifth of the patients served have public insurance or are uninsured. Wolfson Children's Hospital is located 15 minutes away from the UF Health Psychiatry – San Jose.
